Making your living space as modern or as classic as you really want

No-one is going to tell you what style you should have on this site. There are plenty of interior design sites which will, but we are here for home projects and making your living room the dream room for relaxing or socialising, for sprawling or sitting neatly in front of your piano, we don't mind, classic or not it's the way you implement our projects and ideas that will make your living room exactly as you wish.

We've seen so many examples of excellent open plan living rooms, green living rooms, and even some pretty shocking red lounges (not that type.. dear oh dear), and all the home projects we've implemented have varied greatly in the lounge, as people generally have a pretty good idea of what they want. It's not like a kitchen layout where often people are slightly mystified by the available space, we know most lounges have the classic elements, sofas, windows, TV's, lights et al, so we often make disperse ideas come to light in the lounge.

Imagination sets you free as does work, so lets get busy on our home projects

We've all had a hard week's work, trust me, but if you want to really find out what you would like your living space to look like, then research it and shake up your imagination. There are a wealth of resources on the web, some fantastic interior designers tell all for you to explore, there are brilliant interior magazines to subscribe to, so fill your mind with the ideas which will make it apparent what you would like in your lounge. Modern living rooms come in all shapes and sizes, and where a nursery design might be bold and bright, your lounge may be a calm effortless space of whites and neutrals, or you could get Victorian and guild all your ceiling roses and use stenciling on the skirting, really the choice is yours we just hope you find a useful living room project on these pages!
